People still fail to understand how hard Aizen checkmates Yhwach in the final battle. Read Yhwach's dialogue and contrast it with all the edits he makes to the future with The Almighty. When he resets the future where Orihime erases him, he states that he never allowed that future to materialize- the edit that he made was just to keep Orihime around, which would then remove the rejection. When he breaks Ichigo's bankai, he says that he merely shattered it.But when he talks about Kyouka Suigetsu, he can only guess why the effect wore off. What that suggests is that he had no direct way of editing hypnosis off. This makes perfect sense if you consider the Hogyoku to have Soul King fragments in it, and since Aizen is merged with his sword and the Hogyoku, simply destroying his sword or even Aizen himself may not be possible for Yhwach. Regardless, what it means is that Yhwach had to take a different approach to get around KS, and that was allowing his own death to play out and resurrecting himself after. In summary:>with Kyouka Suigetsu's effect active, even full power Almighty Soul King Yhwach didn't feel he could reliably win against the Aizen/Ichigo duo>to turn the effect off, he was forced into permitting his own death and resurrection to play outObviously he still casually immobilizes Aizen later (with the same attack that will literally collapse all three worlds, mind you) so there's still a gigantic gap in power between the two.
