The bleachanon is right. The village system, great ninja wars and chunin exams are proof that Hashirama's vision ultimately failed. And it has to, for Naruto's story to make sense. Of course that doesn't justify Madara's chimpout but Madara still had every reason to believe that this solved nothing. I still don't think he actually wanted to destroy Konoha. He just wanted one final duel with his bf before peace'ing out for the EOTM while everyone thinks he's death.The issue is EOTM is just as retarded as trying to destroy Konoha. I don't really see how Hashirama is supposed to be blamed for anything besides letting Madara live. People act like he's guilty for the current village system, but what he created was still an improvement over what the warring state period was like, even if the current village wasn't perfect.
