I can’t even blame Karin fully because of how hilariously shit her parents were. Even as a toddler they were favoring her. Any kid in her situation was doomed to end up the same way. Youta is the second least guilty because he was biologically wired to fall for her no matter how shit she was but his lack of fucks given for her attitude makes him partly responsible. He CAN tell her no but he’s compelled to by anyone who isn’t head the family makes him, so he doesn’t.

You obviously have a best friend among your friend group, or atleast a favorite. But would you outright ignore, and disparage any other of your friends just because they aren't your favorite? In terms of your children, would you outright ignore or show no love or affection toward any of them? Maybe you'd show less affection compared to your favorite, but none at all??
These parents are fucking evil, more so then just cruel. They actively hate their eldest daughter. They give her next to nothing. She barely functions as a family member in their household, its insane.
