The way how his healing works is that he does some kind of localaized time reversal and all that time he experiences all the memories as such all the pain and suffering the other person felt until the point of healing. He have no natural tolerance for them at his level unless he's drugged to not feel it and in this loop he started building resistance early(so as to gain it faster in this loop) so as to level up faster. Until then it'll be very painful for him. This was explained in the LN(And kind off alluded in the series but admittedly not explained that well).
