Feel like I'm in the minority, but I've always felt the tower arc dragged too much due to these fights. Rather I felt Caracal was wasted here. Actually being smart enough to deduce and play Usogui's game, then workaround the trick, but then he gets killed due to a fight without any proper battle of wits later. Let's say the Martin fight was the weakest part of it, as an example. What I mean to say is, ToK is a quitessential Sako arc for better or worse, and the arcs that come after it bring very little finetuning to his "bloated yet awesome" approach.

ToK was the peak of Toshio's competency in page layout and coreography, so we got LOTS of huge panels and spreads that are amazing to look at and the fight itself still flows very smoothly. Lots of those pages would become like 3 seconds of footage if animated. In fact, Protoporos would be MUCH longer in lenght if Sako hadn't adapted his style and started to use smaller panels and a more cramped storyboarding in general.
