I didn't hate the show like other anons and still found the weekly episodes enjoyable enough despite some of the complaints. That being said, the finale was a total wet fart that brings the whole thing down for me. Like what do you mean Mana gets kwab'd by a tree that's now the final "boss" and Eiji just dies off-screen with 2 lines of acknowledgement?Nanoha and Fate not doing anything in the final episode was also a let down. With the context of the manga in mind I can somewhat understand them not playing a bigger of a role. Their character arcs are already done and now they're just dimension hopping to help the next random girl who'll be the MC of that specific arc, I get it, but they definitely still needed way more scenes. At least let Nanoha do the thing(tm) and fire a buster for the finale. Objectively as a show it's probably like 6.5/10 but as a fan it's more of 5/10 clone assistants best girl(s)

If the audience is bored watching them do their thing, they're not going to care what happens to the setting. Your heroes need to be the ones who are adorable, sexy, and funny. The overall package of the show would be improved greatly if the protagonist or deuteragonist evoked the kind of reaction that Mana gets.
