The anime covered the shoujo romantic comedy portions though, which is Volume 1-6. The next 6 volumes (only 4 of which are out and only two of them are officially translated and released so far) are going to be more of a shounen-esque mystery drama thriller with a bit of NTRbait mixed in for good measure, but some of the shoujo romance still present. But again, the art is 10/10.

now don't let this conversation discourage you from reading Vol 7 onward that picks up immediately after anime's end, (read the last portion of volume 6 too), it's actually good, the art is excellent, and if you can tolerate the weird parts of 7 and 8, the rest does get back to good form, and we're still 2 more volumes (11 and 12) to go before the absolute end of this second arc anyway.
