She never loses anyone she comes to rely on in the war, she never grows or reevaluates what it was that placed her in this conflict (her hubris). Everything is just one big meme or recurring joke, "how will Tanya get her cushy retirement", which is completely at odds with the overall tone of the show. I watched this far because I figured this season would actually be different (it really seemed like it would) but ultimately it just ends up with the same meme ending as before.

Honestly, they should have spaced this whole arc out between 2 seasons, or made this season 16-20 episodes instead of 12.They cut out a lot of the characterization for some of the less prominent characters, especially the entire Federation/Commonwealth side.It also would have given more time for some of the more major events to breathe instead of everything having a super breakneck pace (even moreso than it already had to begin with in the LN).
