Hope Fran doesn't get larger when she evolves. She is close to the size limit where a feline loses the house cats insane paw speed and reflexes. Around 45kg is where cats start slowing down but leopards, jaguars and cougars are in that range and still have reflexes like the cat.

Seeing how season 2 of skeleton knight turned out, I don't have big hopes for season 2 of sword dad and his neko musume either. Plus, the huge flying castle and then the twins was extremely fight-heavy in the manga adaptation.

In the WN they catch the traitor and then go to their intended destination where the food festival happens (forgot the name of the town) but in the LN/manga and most certainly the anime (if it ever reaches that part) they instead have a detour to the island with the dragon ships. In the WN not resolving this issue causes a disaster for that nation later on, but in the LN/manga(/anime) they resolve that issue so future plot points (which I don't think the anime will ever reach unless it gets like 15+ cours of more anime content) related to that will probably differ massively.
