If the mangaka wants to go that direction, they could use that as justification for Ragna to pull out a dragon form later. Obviously, that would be a terrible plot development and probably make me drop the manga all together.

>>291176831Something I really like about this manga is how it separates its action, with Ragna mostly the one going 1vs1 with the biggest baddes dragon on the current battlefield and the human armies vs the other smart dragons and their horde. Ragna give us the big shonen battle with lasers and shit, and the human a somehow more tactical/teamwork effort to kill the other dragons or repel the horde, and the human army is not weak neither too strong to blaze through, so it really feels like they are putting effort, their victories are hard earned but also makes the soldiers death have more weight and not just be numbers, is a good balance that is rare to see.
