Ragna give us the big shonen battle with lasers and shit, and the human a somehow more tactical/teamwork effort to kill the other dragons or repel the horde, and the human army is not weak neither too strong to blaze through, so it really feels like they are putting effort, their victories are hard earned but also makes the soldiers death have more weight and not just be numbers, is a good balance that is rare to see.
