/a/ talks about Madoka, Precure, Nanoha, Doremi, Sailor Moon, and Cardcaptor Sakura but never Princess Tutu, why is that?
>>291287601Too kino
>>291287601There's not a lot left to say in 2026. It's just really good.
>>291287706It's sad how this statement applies to so many underrated anime while mediocre shit hogs all the attention because of recency bias
>>291287601It's not pedobait like the others you mentioned.
>>291287820Are you sure about that?
>>291287601/a/ cannot appreciate high culture like the ballet. Also I really wish Princess Tutu had gotten a full ballet adaptation.
>>291287601I like how consistent it is but Fagkir turning into a tree was a filler
>>291287751Recency bias is a bitch.
>>291287601never talks about Himitsu no Akko-chan, Sally the Witch, Majokko Meg-chan, Majokko Tickle, Minky Momo, Honey Honey, Nanako SOS, Mahou no Rouge Lipstick, Magical Emi, Pastel Yumi, Esper Mami, Persia, Creamy Mami, Magical Angel Sweet Mint, Rayearth, Wedding Peach, Cutey Honey Flash, or Corrector Yui either.
>>291287601Because Kraehe is hotter
Tutu used to be a certified /a/ classic but given the state of the board these days it's a good thing it's not talked about anymore. What happened to CCS threads is a travesty.
>>291287751>underrated>8.15 MAL weighted scoreLOL
I think it's pretty obvious why older shows don't get discussed much:- People who have seen them have moved on and don't think about the shows actively, so they have nothing new and interesting to say- People who haven't seen them or are currently watching them are better served by not talking about them on /a/, since someone will surely post spoilers. Not even out of spite, they are just used to not having to spoiler these things and will blurt things out by accident.Ongoing shows don't have these problems, everyone can speculate on a relatively even footing and there is plenty of new material to fuel discussions, so the board naturally gravitates towards such threads. And once this recency bias is established, it becomes self-fulfilling since /a/ isn't the place to talk about older anime so not many Tutu fans will look for Tutu threads on /a/.Maybe an "Anime - retro" board could solve at least the last problem.
>>291287643Imagine how modern /a/ discussions would be if this show aired in 2026. It's just be Tribe-A Yurifags and Tribe-B-Anti-yurifags screeching at eachother and then calling the ending cuckshit
>>291289361I'd usually agree but MAL gives out 8.5+'s to anything at this point
>>291289645>and then calling the ending cuckshitthanks for spoilers, I will now remove it from backlog.
>>291289662He's either bullshiting or pointing out the fact that retards today call everything cuckshit.
>>291289688>retards today call everything cuckshit.Retards today would absolutely call Mytho choosing Rue instead of Ahiru cuckshit but it'd be mitigated by the fact that Ahiru is a girl. If it were a male MC getting rejected by a girl for another guy, it'd be a nuclear meltdown.
