At least for db, super sayian wasnt something that was just only limited to goku, it was a earnable ability. So its an exception.

The rest however are undefendable. Honestly just bad writing decisions.

Ichigo was just a traumatized kid that watched his mother get killed in front of him. He’s not “the chosen one” he’s the number one because he chooses to fight to protect others not because of some stupid selfish goal of being the president or the king of bad pacing but because he has to protect them. He’s my hero for a reason. Don’t bundle him with these losers.
