I knew they would adapt these chapters since I saw the preview, but I still can't believe they actually did it. Pretty retarded decision unless they know they're making a season 2 sometime in the future. Imagining completely sidelining your main characters in the season finale. They even had a perfect mini chapter to adapt for them as the last 2 minutes of the show, and chose not to. What an insane decision. Overall, 8/10 adaptation. Pretty big quality drop for the writing around ep 10/11.

I fucking love this anime so muchI was expecting a much more tragic finale but I'm so happy that it ended in this bittersweet conclusion. They kept stabbing us with Seiran's death but they're also bringing the audience along with Ali's healing. There can never be any sort of "moving on" from anyone's death, but there will always be people and friends around you to help you carry on. And Esther(or notSberry) is proving to be very helpful in that regard.You can't keep isolating yourself. You have to carry on even if you can't move on. I think Heaven Burns Red carries a similar lesson too.

This was great. It ended up having two "last episode" feeling episodes. One for the Sheena Mimi conflict, and one to help Ari move on.Showing there's a world outside in the last episode, to give at least a faint impression of hope is kinda kino too. This can't have a good end, the series is just designed like that, but ending the anime here is as close as we're going to get.
