I’ve never heard of this 50 episode series from like 2007 but honestly it’s not bad, good little cozy series. im a dumbass who’s only used things like 9anime until the jews (kikeryroll) nuked them from existence so im trying to see whatls good on the netflix catalogue and honestly most of this is utter asscheeks but this show has been a gem to me, any other fans of this show here who have an explanation for how underrated it is? Or do i have shit peasant taste and it deserves it’s lack of attention?

>>291310697The anime was fun but the manga was better. The lack of decent scans (poorly translated and extra crispy in some cases) makes it hard to read but it's worth powering through. There's also a sequel currently being released and scanlated.Also Shigure is best girl.
>>291310697Kenichi is moderately well known and its rep is mainly to do with the hot chicks and actually committing to the talentless MC who works hard thing authentically unlike most manga. The anime is considered pretty good all things considered but it only covers the first big arc of the manga, fortunately that arc is also probably the best one in the series. Don't get me wrong there's a ton of great stuff afterwards but it does sort of start to drag around the halfway point and that's not helped by dogshit unreadable English scans. Also it's unusual in that it's one of the few manga where the MC has an extremely strong case for best character without it really being the product of a weak side cast. It's a good manga, I just wish it was a little more consistent
