Manga is a better medium than anime in every way. Prove me wrong.
>>
>>291311445
Anime nowadays are kinda shaky yeah
>>
>>291311445
Arguably true at this point in time unfortunately
>>
>>291311445

The best anime are masterpieces that reshape humanity's future.
The best manga are adapted to anime then never read by anyone ever again.

>Prove me wrong
I can't prove you wrong because you're correct.
>>
Manga is the source material for many anime and isn't tainted by so many substandard studios from Assfuck, Vietnam.
>>

I think people underestimate the effect music has, even a mediocre OST
>>291311975
How are LNs better than anime? With some notable exceptions, most aren't exactly well written
>>
>>291311445
I-I can't...

No, music, motion and voice acting can raise Anime above Manga, the ambient mood it can conjure is second to nothing. In reality you're right because most adaptions are lazy. A manga is as close to a 1:1 reflection of the authors soul as you can get and anyone getting between that soul and the reader is only diluting the quality of it. In rare cases you may get some passionate people who manage to elevate the work and convey the authors world in a better way but it's very rare. Pic related is better than the Manga for example, Kimetsu is another obvious one. People often just talk about Kimetsus animation carrying it but the pacing, characters, atmosphere and passion expressed really brings the world to life without losing anything compared to the manga

Anime has a lot more cracks than manga

As a rule, they're still vastly better-written than manga, meaning by proxy the stories are average or better by anime standards. We've also reached a point where your imagination will virtually always be more vivid than what animators have the ability or mangaka have the will to depict.

God forbid people enjoy moving pictures

Hard disagree, Kimetsu manga's pseudo Ukiyo-e artstyle is pure soul and anime as a medium struggles to replicate it. The anime has some kino extensions to the fights, but when sticking to the manga it also completely ruins the fast pacing sometimes (upper moon 3 fight was way better in the manga for this reason). Lower moon 1 is another fight that looked and flowed way better in the manga, tho the anime cgi for that looking like ass is a much less controversial take.

I think manga has a slight edge since it's not as stringently censored as anime, particularly TV anime.
>>
>>291314596
Sadly the potato faces barely made it to the adaptation in exchange for visual excess. It's even more frustrating in that there's actual choreography going on in the KnY anime but it's all obscured by the flashing lights and cgi effects.

Examples?
>>
>>291311975
well let's see. in anime, i like CVs and VNs have them. i like OSTs and VNs have them. i like visuals and colors and VNs have them.
you lose some expressiveness of manga pages, you gain a lot more text per scene and audiovisuals.
and you always have nip language to read and listen to, which puts them leagues ahead of shit quality raw scans (i would never read in english).
very good deal.
>>
>>291311975
Name the best 5 VN classics.
They don't compare to the manga equivalent.
Sorry.
>>
>>291311975
The issue with VNs is that they're too rooted in the eroge multiple route structure,
Even when it's not a romance they still feel the need to add that for sales.
>>
>>291311445
No.
>>
>>291311445
I cant prove you wrong sir so i kneel.

saying that mango is better than anime is like thinking reading stage plays is better than seeing them performed.

mango has cool backgrounds tho
>>
>>291311445
Manga is more cost effective, but anime has a higher quality ceiling, so if you had infinite resources, anime would be the better choice.
>>
>>291323435
No it isn't
>>
I only like original, non adaption anime

Saya no Uta is better than any manga
