Tokio continuously tries to make Arulu and Koemori better at working together and to fix her perfectionist worldview. I wonder if he's still holding something back and hiding some info from them.
Should have extended 1999 and ended it there after Sora's death and before all this nonesense. Have all the loose end tied up without a timeskip, develop the romance but don't force it to a close just demonstrate it's on the right, good, track and then close the manga down. It's hard to see how it will ever now recover to be as good as it was.
