Which imo it succeeds at.Something being a faithful representation of reality doesn't equal good writing. Depictions of intelligence can be exhuberant and completely exagerated. Even crutch tropes like dumbing everyone down or giving the character skill like an unrealistic ability to memorize, observe and predict are no big deal, as long the show doesn't take itself too seriously afterwards.Lelouch could predict a whole discourse what a character would say, a lot of his strats rely on stupid stuff like a magic button destroying whole platforms. The characters around Light are all dumbed down to make him look smarter.
