>/a/ tells me the first game is a fluke and they will just progressively get better>anime peaks at the yes/no gamesomehow I binged the anime in two days, so I won't say it was bad. But it never became really good either. Especially the last episodes were dissappointing. If it wasn't for modern female Jesus Christ I might have dropped it in the middle but she is just too cute and cool
>>291323915Nao and Fukunaga are fun. The writing for the games is sort of cheap but still enjoyable.

>>291323915>yes/no gameWrong.Contraband >>> everything else.But the yes/no game is pretty good.Chairs > Contraband but it's a bit further away.
>>291329544Contraband was so insanely boring and the mysteries were presented terribly. The team battles were best.
>>291329878>boringThat's your opinion. Although I'm a manga reader so it might differ for me but I found it very thrilling. I loved cracking down on the numbers, the rules and seeing how the game had different winning conditions. You might not think it's perfect but it's very impressive in how in-depth it went I think.
>>291329544i think the contraband game went for way too long for it was depicting. the way it focused on the different team dynamics, making these two team concepts compete against each other was interesting. yokoya was also an interesting villain but the game itself was just kind of meh. in the end it just boiled down to whose team would be betrayed the latest. it was psychologically very appealing with all these twists and conflicts, but the way the game resolved was quite lackluster all the mathdumping also didn't help make the game more entertaining.
>>291330122I think Contraband traded a bit of the whole "mindgame interactions" entertainment thing for the democracy vs fascism themeing and psychology. So you get less crispy self contained mindgames and a bigger narrative instead. Still quite strong imo, although I'd rate chairs higher due to how it combined both while also keeping a very strong level of depth and number of wincons
>>291329928That stuff would have been good if parts of it were shown in a way that a viewer could reasonably guess the rest and whatever tricks get used. Instead, it's very, very long-winded exposition and little else because each team is barely confronting one another and we don't even see Yokoya's side for the most part until halfway in.In comparison, something like 17 Poker was way better.
