And then it outsold One Piece.
Happy ending for everyone!

thanks OP
Underrated manga. I started reading it several years ago when it was still being released, but I never finished it until now. I really enjoyed it. I honestly didn’t expect the old man to die at the end; it was really sad.
>>
>>291326280
>>291326302
Hanako is so cute that it's ridiculous.
>>
>>291327074
Thanks. There's a lot I want to say about this but to try to keep it short I'll say it was a great ride. A lot of things felt goofy and ridiculous and yet somehow I found myself captivated. Who knew cyborg gramps would be such a moving character? This final moment >>291326340 hits like a brick along with all the reactions of Andou and Inuyashiki's family when they realize what happened. Truly the hero we didn't deserve but stepped up anyway.

I also want to say this >>291326783 is a great and thematically appropriate scene to include in the finale. It reminds me of that earlier part when Inuyashiki and that giga gangster fight. Takeshi looks uncool as he lets loose on the bully. And yet it's that uncoolness that makes it great and cathartic to watch. I guess if I were to take some message from this it would be something like "you can be a hero even if you don't look the part or look cool doing it."
>>
>>291331911
I mean, I'm pretty sure that the US would just keep nuking it until it took. Yeah you'd end up with a lot of chunks capable of doing plenty of damage scattered all over the world, but compared with extinction that option is literally infinitely more preferable.
>>
Did Hiro knew one blast wouldn't be enough and counted on gramps to figure it out or his simulation just made an error?
>>
>>291326280
>>291326302
>human family - couple panels each
>Hanako: SIX panels
I mean, fair enough.
>>
>>291335554
I think Hiro was done having "fun" and wanted an out now that he was crippled, the ride was over and he just wanted to go out saving the hand full of people he actually cared about
>>
>>291336322
I don't think he ever have "fun" since the moment her mother got cancer
>>
>>291326537
god bless america
>>
They totally gloss over the fact that law and order was completely out the window for like, a week
Like how do you go from rapin' and killin' is okay, office workers tossing themselves off rooftops out of sheer despair to working at the konbini and "gimme you're lunch money" like it's business as usual?
>>
>>291337312
>law and order was completely out the window for like, a week
Was it a week? Maybe I'm misremembering last thread, but it felt like it was only 2 days or something like that.
>>
>>291335795
Hanako loved Inuyashiki unconditionally and helped him pull through tough times when the rest of the family grew distant, not a big surprise his last thoughts went to her even after he reconciled with Mari &Co.
>>
>>291326609
>fated to work at the konbini
Deserved, honestly
>>
>>291327074
Thanks OP. Short and sweet manga.
>>
>>291326340

Very fitting to be honest. Had she not chased after him after he dropped her leash he would've likely disappeared for good.

>>291327074
Thanks OP, I quite enjoyed this, lots of (possibly unintentionally) funny pages. First Oku manga I've read, I've got to respect how he took a rather outlandish premise and managed to give it real moments of sincerity. This page >>291326340 in particular is just heart-rending, Inuyashiki kept his humanity till the very end.
>>
>>291335554
>Did Hiro knew one blast wouldn't be enough and counted on gramps to figure it out or his simulation just made an error?
He knew it would take both of them, but he also knew he'd have to be the first one to do it
>>
That was a good storytime. Now all but one of each storytimes and anime I was watching this season are over
>>
>>291327074
Thank you for the storytime, OP.

hiro looks happy in that hat
this week's One Piece chapter must be especially good
>>
inuyashiki is oku's naivete taken to its logical conclusion
despite everything about him, man has his heart in the right place
>>
>>291350365
I'm surprised the last cover is hiro, instead of inuyashiki, nor inuyashiki and hiro

I'll be honest, while I like Inuyashiki, both the manga and the anime are like, 6,5/10 at best. I think I don't vibe at all with the author in many ways.
>>
>>291327074
thanks OP, this was a wild ride
>>291327143
this fits actually quite well with Hiro's final redemption attempt and Inuyashiki's unavoidable sacrifice too, made me cry
>>
>>291326537
Trump very likely got impeached for this reckless final speech tho lol
>>
>>291353156
I like Inuyashiki a lot but I bounced right off of Gigant. Never finished Gigant. Did it end up being good in the end?
>>
>>291357335
No it only ever got progressively worse. The final scene was the MC filming the giant porn girl making out with another man after a cop-out universe reset. Afterwards Gantz E had a subplot about a man falling in love with a prostitute. You have to wonder what happened in Oku's personal in-between Inuyashiki and all that.
