The political plot after the timeskip is super contrived. Rossiou having Simon executed and the GL decommissioned to appease to some angry peasants that he was going to leave to die anyway was retarded. His bitch threatening to suicide bomb if Simon got away was super retarded and pure ragebait. Rossiou being revealed to actually feeling guilty and suicidal over his utterly unnecessary hostile actions in order to guilt trip the audience that was duped into hating him over the last two episodes was blatantly manipulative and cheap.The only thing more contrived was Nia randomly being the anti-Spiral expy out of a million humans just to give Simon more motivation to fight.
