Neji was right and Naruto was wrong in the end in Naruto Shippuden.

Neji and Naruto's fight was all about fate and destiny vs hard work. Neji believed in a fatalism that said we are each assigned a role in life and that what we do is determined by fate. Naruto argued the opposite. Fast forward to Shippuden and the plot proves Neji was right. Why?

What do we find out in the end about Naruto. He is the reincarnation of Asura Otsutsuki, the son of the sage of Six Paths. He has the 9 tailed fox put inside of him. The strongest tailed beast. He was the son of the Fourth Hokage Minato. He was the student of Jiraiya one of the legendary Sannin. He was the student of one of the greatest Jonin's Kakashi Hatake. Naruto was destined for what he became and so was Sasuke. So destiny does determine your course in life after all in the show. Meaning Neji's philosophy had truth to it the whole time.

Oh it's this schizo again. How many times to you need to be BTFO'd before you stop spamming this retarded thread?

>his whole cope for his shit life was that people can't change who they are (i.e. a failure will always be a failure)
>this notion was proven wrong many times throughout the series
Seems like growing up just made you an idiot. Many such cases.

Nope, just less idealistic

You do realize that Naruto doesn't deny the concept of fate right? And Neji even says that people can perhaps shape their own fate even if the outcome was predetermined. Naruto's allotted destiny was to kill Sasuke and perptuate the cycle of violence between the philosophies of Indra and Ashura, a cycle he broke when he realized that it was the same Will of Fire that corrupted Sasuke that was now also requiring him to get rid of Sasuke, thereby failing to rectify the inner contradictions of Hashirama and Ashura's worldviews.

The entire point of Naruto vs Neji was that Naruto took the power of the Nine-Tailed Fox, which was CURSE upon his existence, alienating him from the village and distorting his ability to manipulate chakra and thus be a powerful ninja, to defeat Neji. Neji wasn't even saying that everything that ever happens is completely preordained, but that one cannot even change one's circumstances. Not even if you are destine to change your circumstances could you do it.

PS: Naruto did more "hard work" in Part 2 than he did in Part 1.

TL;DR
Not putting that much effort or thought into a series that didn't have as much put into its creation, narutard.

What can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence.

Reminder that it's established by the start of the Sasuke Retrieval Arc that Naruto with his clone spam and improved taijutsu would absolutely crush Chunnin Exam Arc Lee without the use of the Eight Gates, as he clobbered Sasuke with 2T and speed relative to unweightened Lee with his clones to the point he had to resort to Fireball Jutsu and his Chidori. Naruto was also able to use taijutsu to outmaneuver, pressure and react to Bijuu Transformation Gaara, who was wrecking Sasuke's ass. By all accounts, Naruto had grown to the point the CE Lee was no threat. Yet somehow, despite being raped by Gaara and just coming out of surgery, Lee was able to perform better against Kimimaro despite Naruto's being Kyuubi-amped. This jump in ability for Lee is pure PIS on Kishimoto's part, yet "hard work" fags never complain about it. Curious.

It was already obvious in Part 1 that Naruto was the fourth hokage's son, had the tailed beast in him, and was Jiraiya's and Kakashi's pupil. There was never any pretext of Naruto being a grassroots genius.
Actually, the series consistently implies the opposite, that power in the Naruto-verse is mostly genetic and locked-in. Those who desire power but lack innate ability have to bend every moral rule in order to achieve it (ex. Orochimaru).
The point of the Naruto vs Neji fight is that Neji believes lower-ranking shinobi should literally be enslaved to their betters since he's bought into his clan supremacist doctrine. That's why he tortures Hinata when she refuses to surrender to him. Naruto 'debunks' Neji because he's a powerful shinobi who was initially considered a failure. That's it. That's the only point being made

More important, it's that Neji as a talented genius shouldn't be a whiny faggot complaining about his circumstances since he has the actual power to improve the Hyuuga clan or change how it operates instead of holding a petty grudge. After all, if Naruto is a weak loser who worked to change his own circumstances to get an ovation from the very villagers who previously shunned him as a threat to their state, why couldn't Neji?

It should also be noted that Kakashi says that Naruto has a lot of potential when he laments the fact that he has to outsource him to Ebisu, Kabuto says that he is a freak of nature who would be a terrifying ninja if he honed his abilities, after which he takes a strong interest in him throughout Part I and even II, and Orochimaru's reaction upon seeing his performing the Rasengan is to conclude that Naruto is in fact talented and he just didn't see it.

And that makes them heroes.

I can't tell which has worse storytelling between Naruto and Bleach.
At least Bleach never pretended to be anything it wasn't while Naruto's escalation of powers felt even more retarded than Ichigo's.
At least Ichigo had a bit of everything in him while Naruto was a literal reincarnation of Ninja Jesus.
Bleach, for as thinly spread its casts' development are, featured them in a lot of fights. That hardly happens in Naruto after Shikamaru vs. Hidan.

>>291328474
Remember when Kakashi said that Lee had to be a genius to open 3 gates when he could only open 1 of them despite being one of the strongest Ninja in the village.
>>
>>291331482
Transmigration. Not reincarnation. Ashura possessed Naruto just as Obito possessed Kakashi in his fight with Kaguya. Naruto wasn't born with Ashura's soul in him, he came to be possessed by him at some indeterminate point. Almost certainly after Sasuke and Naruto were teammates already.

Naruto in the chunin exams starts coming up with plans, uses deception to outwit stronger foes, even went for powerbombs. This hurts him in the fight against Sasuke cause he starts making more predictable movements making Naruto easier to anticipate

Naruto is a lame MC but the side characters were cool.

>Neji: "you can't fight fate"
>Nardo: "nuh uh that's rarted, nevar give up!"
>Neji: proves you can't fight fate by dying like a happy slave just like his dad, thanks to Nardo's sermons to add insult to injury
>Neji to Hinata: you can't beat me, you are too nice and weak, you're not fit to be a ninja, stop, you will only get hurt
>Hinata: proves him right by getting the everloving crap beaten out of her by Neji and almost dying, only because she wanted the d of the "nevar give up, destiny is fuck" retard and becomes his housewife like 5 years later. Aside from getting brutalized by Neji her short ninja career consisted of getting brutalized by a villain (to get the d, ofc) in an even more pathetic fashion and tripping on rocks
Yup.
