>>291329400Honestly, it just needed to stay tense and grounded with the occasional foodgasm. Azami's entrance was the first nail in the coffin, the chainsaw was the last. Hire a new fucking culinary consultant and have BLUE be an intense clash of Michelin star cooking talent. El Hermano was unnecessary and this was really the first major 2010s era manga to end with no romantic/shipping resolution. It was a trend setter for all the wrong reasons.
I would have stopped Tsukuda the moment he introduced any stakes higher than being expelled from the fancy cooking school. The evil dad trying to take over all of japan's cooking was retarded. Keep the focus exclusively on the food and on realistic romantic/career drama.
