So Neji was right about destiny being pre-determined, right?

Theory
the fight with Neji and Naruto, Neji tries to instil the idea in Naruto that destiny is pre-determined and that there was nothing Naruto could do, he was destined to lose. Naruto basically argues that that's not the case and it's about hard work etc and at that point in time it's seen that Neji was wrong or at the very least it can be changed.

As we go through the series characters having pre-determined destinies becomes extremely prevalent, most notably in Sasuke and Naruto, being the reincarnations of indra and Asura and were always going to fight, much like the reincarnations before.

So Neji was right, he was just wrong about how destiny was to play out, Naruto was always pre-determined to win.

This may have been discussed before but it's an interesting topic and i'd like to hear others views.
