Any anime you like to watch around this time of year?

Because I don't want to strap in for a promising ride that goes off the rails into retard land like some anime I will not name

>>291342353The concept of Saya killing vampires with a katana is kept through the series, but she mainly wears the school uniform in the first arc (the first 7 episodes) which takes place in Okinawa, from that point on wards the plot moves through different countries, introduces more characters and drama and Saya wears different clothes through the anime, but she still fights monsters with a katana till the end if that's what you're interested in.
>>291342353It's pretty consistent in terms of story overall and has one of the most interesting takes on vampires in anime imo. Starts pretty slow though and it's mostly a thriller, there's plenty of fighting but don't expect huge flashy shonen battles or anything the mysteries and characters are the main draw

>>291342671I mean, the show has its own fair share of subplots, but Saya and her quest to defeat the vampires is the main one and stays like that till the end. Also, the show is not a battle shonen, so powerscaling is irrelevant there.
