the whole "demons need to eat humans" deal was just bad writing, it was set up as the main conflict between the three kings then completely stopped mattering after yusuke's demon dad (don't even remember his name) explained his backstory. it turns out they don't because after the friendly big dude wins the tourney the worlds integrate just fine

Even the holocaust was hidden from there public and was a closely kept secret.
