someone pointed out Aizen's little monologe about how Ichigo beat him to the royal place felt almost like praise and now I really wanna know what he was going to say to Ichigo before he was swallowed by Yhwach Even more so upon learning that the first thing Aizen asks is why he's not allowed to speak to Ichigo before being sent back to Mukan and if they're afraid of him talking to Ichigo for some reason, even the final pages of the manga Aizen ends his monologue thinking about IchigoAizen..what a strange mysterious fellow, that's probably why Kubo refuses to elaborate on him, his past, his bankai, the true definition of his goals, elaborating on Aizen takes away his greatest appeal, just the mystery of the guy's story, thought process and how he truly feels about things, as a writer not only is such a character difficult to write but also difficult to appease expectations the auidence has for a character, through this is hyperbole on my part based on the OG admission that Kubo didn't factor Aizen as the overall antagonist to the soul society arc at the time, he didn't even think of fully committing until a little after the corpse scene. it makes you wonder doesn't it? At what point in his process do you think Kubo came up with the arrancars, the quincy king and concreate concept of what the royal guard and soul king were? Even looking back t izen's meltdown to Urahara Kubo never really clarified how people like Aizen or Urahara could get access to the royal realm let alone learn the true nature of the soul king, even Isshin seems to know, yet it's treated as information the overall Gotei 13 are not privy to, fact, if we go by the novels, the only ones who knew the truth from the start are the older captains, Mayuri figured it out on his own, as expected but guys like Toshiro, the vizards, Soi Fon, Komamura have no idea
