Would've been better character development if she starts out as a genuine spoiled brat who acts just like Draco but turns more and more into a tsundere over the course of the novels.

To keep the dynamic going there would have to be moments where she helps Harry out in crucial situations but has to hide it considering all of Slytherin hates him.
Draco remains a piece of shit all the way to the end and his supposed redemption kinda sucked. Female Draco would have more potential for a better redemption arc if she already got lovey dovey in secret with Harry before the 6th book but then ends up betraying him in order to protect her family.

The one scene I would absolutely love to see is Voldemort torturing the Malfoys after Dumbledore's assassination by proposing that their daughter will be used to carry their progeny. Just imagine the sheer fucking horror they would experience, knowing that Voldy wants to turn their girl into a slave just to get back at them. It could be so beautiful - Lucius would be boiling with rage and frustration that he absolutely cannot show, Narcissa would try to bargain using herself, and the rest of the Death Eaters would be absolutely cackling in the background.
This would allow for a fantastic "rescue" subplot for Harry that'll finally push their relationship to its peak.
