The SBR ED is bad but people had way too high expectations for the ED, people were really expecting Wild Horses when the Stones would demand like $500 million for it, I imagine even something off of Rumours would also be expensive. I personally wanted something from Kansas, part 1 took place in England and ended with a British prog rock band, starting the new verse in America and ending with an American prog band just made sense, I also think they'd be less expensive than the Stones or Fleetwood Mac

Rereading the manga, is D4C (as in the chapters called that, not the stand) the most obtuse and confusing thing Araki has ever written? Like the ending of Jojolion was nonsense but at least I sort of understood what Araki wanted me to think had happened even if it didn't make sense with what was established earlier, but with D4C and the benefit of hindsight I still genuinely don't even know what I'm supposed to think is happening in these chapters.

Also one of the shadow-people clearly attacks Wekapipo with D4C, and after Wekapipo shoots him he turns into Johnny, so did this alternative Johnny have D4C as his stand and was hostile towards Wekapipo? Valentine also has a cube missing from his face after Dio and Wekapipo attack him, dunno what the fuck was up with that? See what I mean, I can understand him retconning the powers to be more understandable, but I don't really get how I'm supposed to read the scenes even with the original stated power, beyond just "a stand did it".

>>291475655>>291475628yeah I noticed they copy palettes from volume or magazine covers. pic related was used for the jojolands main characters. the problems with this are 1) these aren't cannon colours in the first place 2) whenever a stand or character isn't featured on a cover they don't have anything to go off. it's shocking that a manga known for its use of colour has such a bad uninspired colour scanever since part 6 (when warner bros/netflix took over jojo) the anime has mostly been using the manga colours for stands and characters. it's such a downgrade compared to parts 1-5 where we got original designs and palettes each episode. this is going to be a huge problem during jojolion and jojolands where the manga colours are dogshit and lazy. people were praising eclipse 8 recently but it also looks horrible (it looks like a christmas tree)
