I remember watching that first episode when it came out and being excited, then loving the ED from the get-go. It was one the highlights of 10s anime for me, even if it wasn't perfect it was still 14/10.

I have not watched this when it aired, or ever since for that matter. Always wanted to because of the few webumms I saw on 4chan. Is it worth it or am I being baited in a similar fashion to the Magical Destroyers OP making me think the show would be good?

I'm still not quite sure what the people who really liked it enjoyed about it, I had some fun in the first 1/3 of it but it gradually became less interesting with a couple cool ideas here and there and once it focuses more on a main storyline it gets noticeably weaker IMO. It did at least stay looking good IIRC without having animation quality take such jarring nosedives so it has that going for it
