Sasuke uses his leverage to get recommended as hokage, and he won't back down unless Naruto defeats him. The subtext will be that Sasuke absolutely knows that Naruto is sacrificing his personal life to a bimbo that doesn't understand him, just because he's been guilted by Neji and browbeat by everyone to accept her feelings, and marrying into a powerful clan is the 'proper' thing he should do. Beating Sasuke means pushing him away and settling with Hinata and the hokage hat. Sasuke isn't going to take being sidelined for some other bitch sitting down.

Kishi went out of his way to put baby Salad in the teaser, so maybe we really are getting flashbacks to her birth, which means more Karin and probably more Oro and the rest of the crew since Sakura allegedly gave birth in Orochimaru's lair. However, Oro's "kids" were grown in a vat, so they could be chronologically much younger than Salad and Bort, and straight up not exist at that point in time. The bort manga they were made for also forgets that Mitsuki exists most of the time.Ikemoto clearly doesn't give two shits about Mitsuki and he made him real lame in his manga, but I do. After all, he's the child of my favorite character and the circumstances of his birth are suspect much like Salad's.
