In the anime Masao turns into an undead before the events of the Ozaki clinic raid happen, so he doesn't appears in the gathering of Tatsumi's hunting group. Also it's really evident how differently the manga and anime handle the comedy, you can tell the manga is wackier with all the chibi stuff and exaggerated reactions, the anime by comparisson is more serious and in some ways more solemn, as shown in the scene of Megumi being a bitch to Nao when she says her husband and son didn't raise from the death, the manga treats it like a joke with chibis, while the anime plays the scene seriously with Nao trying to make Megumi feel better and Megumi's response making her an even bigger cunt as there's no comical elements involved. I must say I prefer the more serious approach of the anime, it makes the whole horror aspect of the story feel more appropriate while still including some of the jokes in a less jarring way.

>>291605505Yeah, I was wondering if they were going to show the part of Masao turning into an okiagari since in the anime it happens before the clinic raid, I almost thought it was anime original for a second, but then again it's an important part of the story as it shows how a person becomes undead and reveals Tatsumi's true nature, there was no way it wasn't in the source.
