E2 Mimi
Cute human girl.Cute Mimi the tomato.Nasty ass lab grown meat.Damn you steam.God damn what a wonderful body she has.The BGM during the before sex scene is pretty good. The OST might be pretty good for this. Also finally an MC who actually bangs his girls.Good old health checker bed to show she isn't pregnant unfortunately.Shalom salesman.Massive mammaries pressed against that tablet. Both of his questions were valid points.Cute dumb elf is lucky to be alive.
>>291569106her boobs need to be bigger
Next episode he buys the elf's debt, forces her to take a "job" on his ship then beds her because of The Implication, right?
>>291569418You make it sound like she's in danger.
>>291569106What a whore. Sold her body to a man she just met.
>>291569418Is there something wrong with this? Seems like pretty bog standard mercenary behavior. Plus a little sex is a pretty cheap way to pay off a debt.
>>291569106Elma is the best girl. You all know it is true. Chrispedos need not apply.
>>291569106Eh, I still don't believe they had coitus. Not enough evidence.
>>291569418Yes.
>>291569677But Elma has a body of a boy
>>291569106This is such slop but I'm so starved on space-age stuff I don't care. Why are there so few interstellar anime?
>>291569726No, she has a definite chest, it's just B cups.
>>291569734Two reasons. First, sci-fi is difficult to write compared to fantasy. You have to consider much more than a generic fantasy land with elves and dwarves and goblins/orcs.Second, sci-fi used to be from people thinking the future would be pure awesome as we explored the universe. Look back to the space race, for example. Except we are now in the future, and it's shit because we seem to have derailed the train of advancement somewhere along the line.
>>291569734I think it declined along with mecha.
>>291569106sex is cool but he needs to impregnate her
>>291569734I'm only even watching this because it's a scifi. But it's fun so far, I'm enjoying it. It may be isekai power fantasy slop, but at least it's some kind of new setting and I can enjoy seeing the world-building, the technology, all that space shit.
>>291569734I like it quite a bit but I was reading it around the same time I started playing rogue galaxy so I'm biased.
>>291569768>sci-fi used to be from people thinking the future would be pure awesome as we explored the universeStarship Troopers sounded like it had a rather shit setting to live in. So does Dune.Even 40K is way older than this and rubs the grimdark setting in your face.As for anime examples, even LOGH had a crappy setting to be living in.
>>291569734The same reason Isekai in the last decade and a half have been so huge: everyone wants to escape real life. Humanity rejected a better future. We see this now with all the anti-AI people and similar techniphobes. If people left their current life now they would have zero reason to go back.
>>291569988It's like magical girls, you don't get the dark version without the regular version first.
>>291569988>even LOGH had a crappy setting to be living in.Our modern day medical tech is beyond what they have in LoGH, I was floored by how bad the world building was in that. A simple blood test would have alerted the empire of the keizer's collagen issues waaaaaaay sooner. What fail!
>>291570044No futuristic world building is going to survive the development of drone warfare anyways. All depictions of human battlefield combatants might look really dumb a few decades from now.
>>291569988>even LOGH had a crappy setting to be living in.Not really much different than Napoleonic wars era europe, sure there were wars but most places were pretty much civilized and peaceful. Only problem is they went too far with making everywhere look like an old fashioned victorian countryside.
>>291570017Those don't really count as people, they are bigger bots than the bots the hate.
>>291569677Chris is an adult.
>>291570111>I swear officer, she's a 2000 year old dragon!
>>29157012215 is an adult in these books.
>>291569106Elma soon.
>>291569734It doesn't do well on Narou so less writers try.
>>291569106So if a man was in trouble he'd just go "sucks to be you be born a hot fertile female in the next life"?
>>291570222I'd do the same.
>>291569768The future could still be cool if elites wanted to put their focus on something meaningful like nuclear fusion. Instead these dumbasses fuck over their own bottom line trying to pass off LLMs as an AGI panacea and sell at a loss hoping it'll become ubiquitous if they just shill it enough.>>291569936I'm trying but the insistence on all the classic tropes is wearing on me. If the world-building slows down and the show goes full harem collection mode, I'll have to drop it.>>291569820>>291570202So it's a Japan thing?
>>291570111Not this season, anon.
>>291570241AI is my only friend.
>>291570175Both space elf sex and then threesome next week.
>>291570241>So it's a Japan thing?Sci-Fi is in decline world wide, anon.
>>291570256>almost legalGood things come to those who wait.
>>291569106me and anon
So which space video game has a ship with a feature where you lose control of the ship?
>>291570295Stella Online.
>>291570241Anons whine about why isekai gets spammed so much and one reason is funny enough because sci Fi has been in major decline and shows no signs of recovering. People seem to be disillusioned with the future so a more palatable setting is pure fantasy or even a alternative past. Isekai is just a vehicle for it. Theres isekai sci fi of course, but the prevalent theme seems to be fantasy trumps all.
>>291570295If we count losing control of your engines and being at the mercy of inertia then starsector.
>>291570321The children yearn for their own slaves.
>>291570280>>291570321>can't think of any western sci-fi lately beyond some generic b-tier movie and capeshitNot like this...
>>291569321
>>291570241>If the world-building slows down and the show goes full harem collection mode, I'll have to drop it.You won't get that this season, or even in a next season. Things do get out of hand eventually, though.
>>291569418Not only does Hiro never force any of the girls to be part of his crew, several of them force themselves on him.
>>291570404Did Bond get out of hand because he slept with too many women, I think not (although the new ones are shit)
>>291570425>Did Bond get out of hand because he slept with too many womenBond never kept any from movie to movie.
>>291570241The worldbuilding never slows even after the harem grows.
>>291570017They could be imagining a better life out in space, instead of some generic medieval bullshit. It's still an escape from reality. I just don't understand why it's always some generic medieval bullshit. Especially since living in medieval times would actually really suck, and be way worse than the present day. Why not go live in the 1800s, They had better hygiene.
>>291570516Having slaves would be awesome though.
>>291570404>>291570462That's nice then. It's good too, right? I'm not expecting some LoGH level intricacy but I still need something to sink my teeth into.>>291570516The 1800s is where all the shitty institutions that have people disillusioned got started.
>>291570516Anon the 1800s is when the clock started, romanticism was literally created in the 1800s as a reaction to modernity.
>>291570583I'm reading it a second time.
>>291570398Elf losing as usual.
>>291570719But she wins the popularity contest.
>>291570583>>291570625Maybe so, but gunpowder's a pretty neat invention and sailing ships are cool. It can be made romantic and appealing. Just put the MC into the role of a swashbuckling privateer in the notCaribbean. Or how about a Wild West type setting? Didn't people like Trigun? Shootouts and saloons beat being a Japanese salaryman, surely. I'm just saying, if it's gotta be the past for some reason, don't make it the shittiest past. There are more time periods than stone castles.
>>291570583This season you get:interstellar governments jockeying for more territory, one feudal government's nobles jockeying for power and territory, corrupt bureaucrats, space colonies' economies, space monsters' appetites ,space pirates' economies, fratricides, and in the middle of it allone highly skilled privateer with a heart of gold.Stick around for a possible next season; and we'll throw in a pair of hard-drinking dwarf babes.
>>291570773Trigun was too pacifist and therefore lame.
>>291570241>If the world-building slows down and the show goes full harem collection mode, I'll have to drop it.Once it hits the tournament arc is when it drops off a cliff. Before that it's just slow decline.
>>291570795I won't disagree, but until the weird stuff started happening, it was pretty neat going around dusty little towns and doing the traveling hero thing. More the setting than the story, was cool.
>>291570830>Once it hits the tournament arcI never know if people are kidding when they say this.
>MimifagsVanilla.>ElmafagsTsundere lovers.>MaidbrosToasterfuckers. Also men of culture.>SerenafagsSimps.>KugifagsFoolish gaijin.>ShoukofagsHagCHADs.>Chrisfags and dwarffagsWhy don't you have a seat over there. You will argue but you know it is true.
>>291570901Mimi is best, vanilla leads to the highest long-term happiness
>>291570876In this case no. Tournament arc is volume 7 of the LNs.
>>291570901I don't like Elma because she's a tsundere, I like her because she's flat.
>>291570876After Hiro and Co. make a big splash fighting monsters alongside the Fleet, the fu-- fun-loving emperor dumps a long string of exhibition matches on our Hiro, both so he can see what Hiro's made of and because he's a bit of a dick.
>>291570830>tournament arc
>>291570922>Tournament arc is volume 7 of the LNs.Three chapters of it, anyway.
>>291570977You'll get your filler and you will like it.
>>291570773Damn now I want an actual pirate anime. OP and Harlock don't really fit the bill.
>>291571000Check out:>TakarajimaIt's Treasure Island, but anime.>Mars DaybreakSci-fi piratish adventure.>Fena Pirate PrincessSailing the Caribbean in the 18th century seeking answers against the British Empire Upon Which The Sun Shall Never Set.>Bodacious Space PiratesIf you like barratry and insurance fraud.
>>291571046Bodacious Space Pirates is mainly about electronic warfare and is also quite enjoyable. You should watch it.
Does this nigga ever get his space soda empire or do the laws of physics win?
>>291571072Another show I watched almost purely because it was actually a scifi for once, but found entertaining and definitely worth my time.
>>291570241>>291570280Japan (alongside China and Korea) does have a historical 'roadblock', so to speak, they were locked in a medieval system for a long-ass time, doing so before the Europeans and had to change that shit literally kicking and screaming by the 1850s.Incidentally, that is why I prefer Age of Empires III to II or IV, and what do you know, you plat the Chinese and Japanese in these games and they don't look that much dissimilar despite the literal millennium difference. Also fuck man, I wished IV was a modern day RTS instead of medieval shit again so that V could be a futuristic setting...
>>291571046>against the British Empire Upon Which The Sun Shall Never Set
wait what why make another thread for this?
>>291571197Why not?
>>291570078Supreme Commander (the RTS) kind of did that. Wars are fought as 1v1s between commanders piloting giant mechs that can build armies of drones using the raw resources of the planet they're sent to. One fun thing about it is that the game scale and time is 1:1 with the lore, so they can build a planetary army of drones from scratch within like 10 minutes or so.
>>291569734>declinedThere's no wonder anymore for the stars. Why? Well take a look at the world. Just play games in the same setting. That's the closest you'll ever get to what you want.
>>291571227>Just play games in the same setting.I spent 60 hours pretending Starfield wasn't shit. I'm not doing that again.
>>291571209there's nothing to talk about. there's the LNfags and the lagging mangafags with the animeonlies in the dust. hiro is just another isekai protagonist with abilities he did cultivate himself but gains bullshit powers and a bunch of women. too many women is bad since each girl is diluted and left to be a background character. it should unironically end with him retiring far away from everything on some planet with his chosen wives and the noble wives visiting every so often.
>>291571272All the people talking would disagree that there's nothing to talk about, anon.
>>291571197I welcome it. I wasn't around when it aired, and joined the last thread very late. The last thread hit like 550 posts before archiving. Clearly there is interest in talking about this series.
>>291571118He finds carbonated drinks, but not the cola that he craves
>>291570876>tournament arcif it ever got animated it'd be like 3 episodes long
>>291570876huh yeah nips do like their tournament arcs don't they
>>291571072>electronic warfareThose folks who've read ahead, does Neve ever get a cyberdeck?
>>291570774I see what you did there.
