The weekly episodes have been satisfactory so far, but they did Sandman a big disservive in Stage 1 by skipping half his set up. We'll probably see his sister in a flashback later, but Stage 1 is pretty much the only time we get to cheer for him as a racer and stripping him of his motivation really weakens his early spotlight. In episode 1, he effectively does just prefer white people to his own and races just to get rich.
I've seen people say that Sandman's backstory was taken out of the beginning because they want to show it during A Silent Way so they can have his sister call him Soundman instead of Sandman to fix the continuity error which everyone had to cope about with off-screen nonsense

They flayed Radcliff alive removing all his skin with clamshells and then burned him alive without skin.The thing about natives vs settlers is, it was an equal fight between both of them for a long time, until guns basically became mass produced which changed things a lot. Indians weren't some noble and peaceful people who never did anything wrong, they did a lot to settlers that gets lost in history due to the myth of the noble savage which spread within the last hundred years. No one in history was really noble and peaceful, or else they wouldn't survive. "A" reason the settlers of salem were so paranoid which lead to the witch hunts is because natives performed three or four raids on the village that year, it doesn't change what happened there, but it does paint a picture of people who were going mad for more reasons than just "religion". Once settlers won the narrative got rewritten into black and white over time. You think winners write the history books but its actually kinda the opposite; if the other side is left alive and they have nothing else at their disposal, they no longer have a chance in direct conflict, they will often use writing to slowly rewrite the narrative over time. Its something we see a few times in history with groups that lost a big conflict but they survived.

Manga Spoiler: What was the point of these two characters? It seems like, at the start, they were going to be part of the JoJo gang, but then Araki decided to focus only on Gyro and Johnny(which worked out well of course..I really liked Pocoloco at the start and would have loved to see more of his ridiculous Stand.

It feels cheap.
