>Can Imagine someone dead>still loses. Can someone explain how?
>>291603034Kubo isn't a good writer
Because the writer decided he loses.
>>291603034I thought every imagined concept is scaled by Reiatsu. like how Soi Fon could two tap Aizan with her ability. The whole fight hinged on whether Kanpachi was sold on Gremmy, or the other was around. Whoever was defeated in their mind lost first.
>>291603034He was too strong. That's why he lost.
>>291603034Just because an abilities limitations aren't spoonfed to you doesn't mean they don't exist. He needed to double himself to be able to drop a meteor, so we know his reiatsu does cap what he can do without setup. Also all three times he just imagined someone already hurt (rather than having to imagine something else like lava to inflict the damage) he touched them with his hands, there seems to be a range limitation where imagining someone already dead or having cookie bones or whatever cannot be done unless he's point blank.
>>291603034Bleach's power system is based on "turns".Both meanings, as in they fight in a "turn-based" style and also, the winner is determined based on whose turn it is to win.
>>291603034bleach powerscale is just non sense the same goes for that monk, he could do ANYTHING and win as well
>>291603034Wasn't it mentioned that Ywach kept Gremy isolated and that isolation prevented him from using his imagination to its full potential?>>291603286In story he lost because Kenpachi's strength exceeded his imagination.
>>291603817But he lost
>>291604218>In story he lost because Kenpachi's strength exceeded his imagination. That doesn't make any sense
>>291603034Isn't this fight just a ripoff of a fight from A Certain Magical Index?
>>291604249To be fair, a lot of the powers in the final arc and explanations for how characters were able to counter/overcome them made no sense.>>291603817Monk was OP but his ability had limits. The issue was the way he lost didn't make much sense.
>>291603034>Can Imagine someone deadthe person he was fighting wasnt alive
>>291603034Well the same happened in JJK with the clown, he was extremely OP.
>>291603034He just couldn't even imagine Kenpachi losing
Phew... an hate thread at 5 days from the episode, coincidence?
>>291603034He panicked in a life-or-death situation due to his inexperience. It is that simple.
>>291604280I think there are more fights like that but cant remember. Maybe I'm mandelaing myself or something
>>291603250>>291603723That's the big issue. The fight doesn't go into how the visionary, and many other schrifts, manipulate reishi and reiatsu enough to get an understanding why his stuff won't work.If it was something like, gremmy uses Sklaverei as a base for the visionary to make things, but kenny has he's usually big dick reiatsu to disrupt gremmy's control of the reshi. Preventing any direct imagine attack to effect him like the first part of his fight against ichigo. something likeAlso, gremmy was using real world scaling. If he replace those guns in op's picrel with spirt weapons like Lille baro or robert guns maybe it have a better effect. Blut would've help too instead steel.idk, thats what i would come up or something
>>291603034his ego is bigger than his powers
>>291603034it's called intrusive thoughts it was actually a pretty clever way from him to be defeated, his ability really is a double edged sword
>>291603140fpbp
>>291604280yep
>>291603034Kubo is not a great writer.
>>291603140thisHe broke Kenpachis bones in his arms and then suddenly his powers didn't really work.Kubo just sucks as a writer. He keeps writing himself into corners and then just bullshits his way out.
>>291603034If he gets distracted they would stop being dead though.
>>291603034He couldn't imagine himself winning, that was the point you low IQ mongoloid
