Man. I don't mind Elfman shilling honestly. He was one of the more prominent Fairy Tail members back in the day but then he got sidelined hard later on. "Dragon soul" is pretty fitting for him since dragons are a type of beast and getting one would also finally let him catch up to Mirajane. Let him get that power up, I say!

Those two are just along for the ride without any kind of personal goal, but Erza is always bound to get a new thing since it's easier for her to pull a new armor or just bullshit a way out.I'm all for Mirajane or Elfman getting power ups because it would be logical given the circumstances. Right now people don't seem to realize that Mirajane can use the Alegria form now to fight instead of just as a one-off attack.

You also have Erza who will always dominate the meta with a new armor tailor made for defeating the big bad (she would have pulled out an anti-zeref armor from her ass if Natsu didn't merk him first). Gray just can't keep up and needs Juvia sex just to survive. He's probably gonna get Juvia pregnant so he has an excuse for being offscreen soon.

On top of her original demons souls, she also has most of Tartoros under her command and most likely even got a new one recently with Daemon. Elfman has never gotten any beast on the same quality as Mirajane's demons...Until now that is, if he can actually pull off a proper Dragon Takeover.

With dragons being responsible for alot of the minor cast getting some huge buffs, it really leads credibility to the fact that the fall of Dragon kind was the dragon's own fault. Even if there was no Acnologia,someone else would have genocided the dragons eventually. They just kept giving humans the tools for Dragon demise. It's like giving ants the codes to nuclear bombs. Dragons were fucking dumbasses pretty much.
