There literally isn't even time to establish a story- if the series hasn't gotten people hooked in the first couple chapters the notice is already being sent and the next series is being selected.

Even after 2 years, I think Nishi is still adjusting to the faster pace required to survive in WSJ, with uneven results. Action is not her forte, and I wish she had the luxury to focus on character dynamics and worldbuilding. However, I've loved the past few chapters; it's been a satisfying payoff for the breadcrumbs sprinkled along the way regarding Kumugi's true potential. Also, the art is top-tier, among the best in WSJ right now.

Still with its demise I'm glad that Usazaki is here to work on Ichi now. Even if I personally think her style works with Act-Age more as she's great at the more dramatic moments than the action moments.
