Still catching up to manga after the anime. On chapter 163.I find it weird that the search for the missing arm subplot kinda got abandoned almost immediately and didn't really amount to much. Same with Byouki just, uh, deciding to come back. The entire anime portion made it seem like Byouki residing in the present day was of great importance, but I guess not. Feels like Rumiko didn't really know what to do with these two subplots so she just quickly combined them into the Daigo's return narrative.Also, it's great to see that Nanoka got her own unique weapon and is actually useful to Mao now, with Mao even relying on her to do damage to the ayakashi. We've gone so far from the goofball Nanoka of the start of the series!Well, I’ll report back in a week.
