The leaks for episode 49 are absolutely insane if they're real. Apparently, the whole group we saw at the end of episode 48 gets completely and brutally wiped out by Yhwach in literally the first minute. Then the fights get super random: Yhwach ends up fighting those two rookie Shinigami in the World of the Living, while Pesche and Dondochaka are somehow holding it down in Hueco Mundo. In the Soul Society, Ichigo gets his Bankai broken again lol and Komamura has to step in for him. Most of the episode is actually Komamura and Uryu teaming up to fight Yhwach. During the fight, Uryu drops some huge lore and explains that he survived the Auswählen because his mom transferred her powers, the Antithesis, to him right before he died. Right at the end, Orihime shows up to fix Ichigo's Bankai, Uryu clutches up by shooting the Still Silver arrow, and Ichigo lands the final hit on Yhwach. It wraps up with the usual ending which is expanded to show a bunch of other characters.
