is picrel still on going with slow release, or just straight up axed?
>>291671383It's still serialized https://comic-days.com/episode/2550912965250896319
>>291672098Hmmmm Arby's
>>291671168This was coolThough I hate the fact it was never explained why the system was built like that or what exactly was the third level meant to be (and if a first level really existed or not)
>>291672692One of the promising rookie mangaka that is in my radar. She's supposed to have her debut serialization this year with Godmother, from Kodansha voting last year, but she's really taking her sweet time with it. You can read her interview below and yes she's Chinese.https://podcasts.apple.com/cn/podcast/ep44-%E4%B8%8B%E5%B7%9D%E6%9E%97-%E6%BC%AB%E7%94%BB%E4%B9%9F%E5%8F%AF%E4%BB%A5%E4%B8%8D%E6%98%AF%E6%A2%A6-%E6%98%AF%E4%B8%80%E4%BB%BD%E5%90%83%E9%A5%AD%E7%9A%84%E5%B7%A5%E4%BD%9C/id1794024476?i=1000732574629
>>291672975I'll never understand why browns tolerate coloring this ugly
>>291674063I don't think about browns at all.
>>291674678This was good.
Literally me
>>291676533Yes. You are not like everyone else.
>>291672001this reminds me of prison school
>>291678986The government said no pickles!
>>291671168I just read this. Creepy.
>>291679378Same artist and just like that series people started to get angry at some of the romantic choices in the series and it was rushed to an end.
>>291671392BA is a pile of shit but the fan works are pretty good some times.
>>291679418Uh is this symbolism or something?
>>291672692Pretty clear to me that everyone on the third level are demoted to mere computational resources. Hence why when it zooms out they're just a bunch of 1s and 0s. Whether they even have consciousness anymore it's good chance of being a hellish state. Who knows what they need all that computation for.
>>291683208Probably more of a metaphor
Weird manga
>>291671168I don't have a Twitter how do I read this?
>>291692658Mangadex has it.
>>291691042I like the way this mangaka sometimes portrays things you don't usually see in anime and manga. Like she sometimes does actual (dramatized and humorized, but just a bit) portrays of rural life. You don't often see portrays of the actual working countryside, what you usually get is a different romanticism about some trad Japanese house with a porch, a brown tomboy relative, lots of insect noise, and some quaint olde worlde characters. It's all very 'outside looking in' except what they're looking in to isn't real but the accepted, fun version, portrayal of that subject. You see someone living in a rural place but they're a writer or some other townie job, more rarely are they fishermen, farmers or foresters. Pages like that show you a something slightly more realistic, but still fantastic and romanticized; dumbshit rural crime, a slap-dash country house that's half modern half old fashioned and people that are the same but also not just caricatures. Teibou does it too, sometimes, but it's mostly a more manga-ish story about JKs SoL fishing.
>>291693391She did grow up in a farming family, so it's not surprising she has that more grounded and experience perspective.
>>291691042Arakawa is great yeah, I'd almost put silver spoon over FMA. She's great at making character feel like actual individuals instead of plot enablers like almost every other artist. Chestnut is unironically a better written character than most humans in other mangas.
>>291694527Hyakkiyakou
>>291693548Editors like this should be killed.
>>291691042Wh-what are they gonna do with all those potatoes?
>>291674057>you've got it all wrong
>>291694196Why is the Manaki personality naked?
>>291676533Anon don't hit me like that you asshole
>>291687386Whenever I read Russian novels I just mentally mark up names as "the K-guy" and "the A-woman" and never actually pronounce these names in my mind.
>>291694685Potato cannons (Mrs. Arakawa get down)
none of you can beat this one
>>291697247Pretty sure I can beat a woman
>>291697295>he doesn't know
>>291697247Try this one
You guys should start playing pachinko.
>>291674212my poor doto
>>291692669The monster designs in this are always fantastic
>>291693613I’m reading it now and while I do like it, I only like the main character as of now. The girl he likes is pretty boring.
>>291697295Good fucking luck, you're going to need it
>>291704592
>>291672692>>291683336I think the very end after the zoom-out, when we see the newborn get installed with a chip on the base of its neck, is also part of the zoom-out. Level 2 is probably the normal server that hosts Paradise, and those who get demoted to Level 3 are transferred off the servers and onto the microchips. This would also explain why when K11 is first assembling 1529, that all the Parts (A-D) are also in binary.
>>291704329can't blame it for being unrealistic, you might not like her but she is a more believable character than a large majority of what the industry has to offer
>>291695897You don't get to keep your clothes in the mental realm, obviously
>>291671168finding shit like this is why i'm still here, thanks for sharing
>>291673063What's the name of this one?
>>291673063Heh I was already following her, didn't realize it's her
>>291714546How can I tell this is Jiro Matsumoto in 1s
>>291677638This manga is hilarious, with some good OPT material pages
>>291671168Thanks. This was good.
>>291671168did this ever explain what level 1 was?
>>291676533Let's compare how (You) it is.I have>never kissed a girl>never hugged a girl>never held hands with a girl>never finished highschool>never had a job>never owned a cellphone>never owned a drivers' license>never owned a vehicle>never gone to a party>have not had an irl friend in nearing 20 years>have accomplished nothing in my lifeI've never wanted to really do any of those, I'm partially disabled so living is tough enough I guess. But how about you?manga not related outside of being applicable for the thread
