Much better than last week's episode. Asta's battle with the giant devil was great, they really made the devil feel like a giant enemy and I loved the part where Asta cuts his tail. Unite still looks goofy given Asta's midget body, but it looked better than in the manga. The impact frames of the Dark Triad going 100% mode were also great, I also liked how they depicted the magic of Lilith and Nahamah and their voice acting, and that the devils aren't CGI.On the other hand, I didn't feel much impact from the scene of Noelle and the others returning, I have the feeling they appeared too suddenly and didn't give you time to process their reappearance given all the insane stuff is happening at the same time. Also once again you can tell Tabata was rushing this part given how quickly the low and medium level devils got foddered.And one nitpick, I don't like the color scheme they picked for 100% mode Vanica, why is her body brown? It doesn't feels her magic, she should have been red like the blood she uses.

I see they didn't try to fix the scale issue that was present in the manga. In some shots the demon is so tall that if it were to lie down on top of the capital it would stretch almost from one end to the other and in other ones it's shorter than your average skyscraper. That's like a 10x fluctuation in size.

Fana and Vetto were pretty one-note and were repeating the same line all the time, Rhya had a good concept but the character lost steam once the elves awakened and eventually became a nothing, Rades and the other two were annoying and a nuissance, and then later are pardoned just like nothing despite their heinous crimes, the Diamond Generals are a joke, most of the Dark Disciples were fodder to show how strong the characters were after the time-skip and the whole concept behind them was abandoned soon, the devils in general felt more like plot devices than actual villains, and Lucius started strong but became a disappointment at the end. I think Tabata excels at making great protagonists and giving them a solid development, but the villains were never his forte, which is why BC antagonists are seldom mentioned in best anime villains lists.
