My deluxe Ishtar (unofficial GK) arrived today.I've got to say, this is some top quality craftsmanship. Compared to most fragile resin statues, she's fucking sturdy. Her magnetic connection points are all large and connect easily but aren't wobbly despite that. Her switchable cast-offs are essentially full extra bodies, and all the cloth and frills are manufactured in a rather genius way to allow the clip-in pegs of her chains to nestle between them and her body rather seamlessly. First time I've ever gotten a statue that came with instruction booklets on how to assemble them, too.Which makes me all the more disappointed by the fact that the (official) TLR Nemesis statue I got last week has all the quality of a goddamn Banpresto web prize despite the $150 price tag. I swear, if the chinks ever made a bootleg, they could only make it look better than the original.
