Soigne are this decade's premiere CGDCT studio, right? It used to be Doga Koba but they focus their efforts elsewhere these days and even before that it was Kyoani. I can't think of any studio carrying the mantle as much as them with as high quality as them these days

Mono was a great adaptation of a terrible manga. Kyoani probably could have done it better, but that would be because they'd throw out most of the source material and write their own story with the characters.
