Wow, Hyetta actually pulled it off. Shabriri once put in the work for the Frenzied Flame Proscription to exist, and now she has seen it through or is him trying harder on an "alt account", so to speak. Also, while this chapter had some jokes in it, the overall chapter knew it was time to be serious and the severity of the Frenzied Flame wouldn't let things stray for long. We'll now see how Melina takes this and if she disappears forever (save for the ending, unless Miquella's needle is used in Placidusax's arena) like in the game. I can see her trying to plead with Aseo to at least get him back somewhat to normal, basically putting the Grace warnings later than they'd happen in the game, but she might actually leave in disgust or pouting in a comedic way.

Logically, this let's you get a "good" ending where Melina didn't also have to die. But the game does not recognize this since she doesn't have any appearance post Frenzy Flame/Mountain Top unless you actually do the Lord of Frenzy ending, which is what this rigamarole is meant to avoid.
