Allowing the enemy to cross the river in order to trap part of your forces on the other side isn’t as foolish as it seems. As for stealing and blowing up ALL the supplies - that’s going too far.The enemy had dispersed them, and that’s exactly what should have made what happened more difficult, not easier.Indirect fire? Not bad. But wouldn’t a hidden artillery spotter have been enough for that, or do we really need such complicated methods right away?Besides, why didn’t they fire on those tightly packed formations? Whether indirectly or directly, they were an easy target. This is the biggest flaw in this anime - using medieval tactics in the presence of the equivalent of modern heavy weaponry is a very bad idea, and we can see a realistic scenario of how this should have ended in Tensura.Even Isekajin, who isn't particularly interested in history or military matters, should be able to see where this is headed and that we need to prepare to change tactics. The anime is generally pretty good, but if the author knew a bit more about history, military affairs, and technology, it could even be among the best.btw pretty good osthttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q2_PZ0H03VM
Reminder that MC's late dad made him side with someone who's trying to dispose him out of greed for power.
