The powerlevels this season suck. King using entry-level implants can fight with apparently everybody in night city. Then you have Capri which becomes a literal magic god.

The cool designs made me eager for more Sushio/Imaishi shit. I wonder what Trigger's next in-house original series will be. With two Edgerunners series and Dungeon Meshi consisting of two double-cours each there wasn't much time for anything else. Gridman must have been the last completely new series, if you consider Dynazenon a sequel of it and even they were not Trigger originals. Loved all of these shows though. But still, wonder when we will get the next KlK/TTGL(same team)/Luluco etc.

He stood no chance against mecha Capri/Talia. Whenever the threat was anything more than the lowest-level goon, he was completely outmatched after he lost his chrome. That's why he's endearing. He's not a David Martienz or Adam Smasher. He's a busted-up old dude held together with the cyberware equivalent of duct tape and paperclips, and he still keeps chugging. That's why he's my GOAT of this season.

The first 6-7 episodes were great. D, Roman, Talia and Capri were fun (King does literally nothing), but everything after that was very disappointing. All in all, season 1 was much better
