Let us tell the story of a man.A man whose ideals burned more fiercely than anyone’s, and who therefore knew despair. His dream was an innocent one.He wanted everyone in the world to be happy. That was all he had ever wished for.It was a childish ideal, one every boy cherished once, then surrendered and discarded as he learned how merciless the world could be.Every happiness comes at the cost of some sacrifice. Any child learns that much before reaching adulthood. But this man was different.Perhaps he was more foolish than anyone else. Perhaps something inside him was broken. Or perhaps he bore the kind of calling that defies common sense, the kind that makes a saint. When he realized that every life in the world rested on a pair of scales, weighed between sacrifice and salvation, when he understood that he could never empty either pan,on that day he resolved to be the one who held the scales.

>>291752172I like the wnding to his tale, and how -after the utter and complete failure of his ideology of saving the most people meaning the greater good- he found redemption in the salvation of a single child who needed him.
>>291752172I can't take anything Urobuchi writes seriously because he explicitly makes it so everyone's intentions and actions make things worse for everyone because the retard cannot write anything else
>>291752172>>291756394And he makes the same time magic gun shooty character every fucking time. It's just embarassing.
My translation of Fate/Zero is complete.https://mega.nz/folder/VzpjCI7K#WPkqIsLn9iViUrzPeOcy9gI peered over it many times with Sol and made some personal dialogue editing choices, such as removing the "it can't be helped" repetition in the final scene for something better sounding. Corrected and adjusted some formatting things. Accuracy by the MTLwiki metric (if I did it right) is 99.96%. I doubt there will be a better translation of F/Z anytime soon, even if it got an official/human translation one day (I'm sorry to say). I will freeze this edition and only issue future corrections for demonstrable errors reported by readers. No more tinkering for its own sake. Enjoy. 14 comparisons with the Baka-Tsuki TL, including Japanese: https://redman-fate-zero-comparison.peppygnome3.chatgpt.site/As you can see, it's a substantial improvement over the old ESLation and reads as well as, or better than, what an official TL would probably look like. Judge for yourselves; Astra lives up to the hype.
>>291756756going to brag about it on Beast's Lair or some shit?
>>291756780I have no intention to attempt to distribute it outside of 4chan. Most mainstream spaces are still behind the curve with regards to the quality of LLM translations. But if anyone wants to distribute it there or on other places, feel free.
