He just remakes things with his own perversions added since he finished EVA in 1997. The previous big sby 2199 release which he did NOT control had a reference to Rei Ayanami, something he did not like. Cause he is a manchild butthurt about how Rei outpopped Asuka back in the day.
2199 was great though.

So now that he is involving himself with the new SBY, expect him to insert an Asuka reference, the perversion of choice.
