Kubo did it, he actually gave us the best fucking ending. Everyone else in shambles of how badly Bleach won the shounen wars.

During the downtime I watched both Episode 49 and Episode 45 again. I think what makes Episode 45 truly special is how brutal Yhwach was. Yhwach fucking killed or almost killed>Ichigo x5>Rukia x2>Orihime x7 Instead of being some unknowable goo monster, Yhwach actually resembled a harrowing villain who could kill everybody with a snap of his fingers. I felt that was ultimately missing in Episode 49, even if Harribel was seriously injured.

I don't understand why is it so had to grasp why Blood Chains is Ichigo's strongest form (aside for Mugetsu), but Yhwach was afraid of regular Tensa Zangetsu. It's very simple.As the ultimae Shinigami/Hollow combined technique, Blood CHains should be more powerful than anything Ichigo should be able to conjure as just a Shinigami. But it doesn't matter to Yhwach. The strength of the attack is irrelevant, he can even bring himself back from being dead. The only thing that can harm him is something that he can't See. And Tensa Zangetsu does exactly this.Blood Chains skewes the nature of Ichigo's powers towards Hollow, but Tensa Zangetsu amplifies Ichigo's true nature: being the closest thing to the Soul King, the power of Black and Chaos. If Ichigo had time to train and learn how to properly weild reforged Tensa Zangetsu, he'd be completely invisible to the Almighy. But the amount of control he has is enough for Yhwach's Vision to be hindered in such a way that he can't see a Future where attacks of Tensa Zangetsu miss. Finished the episode, despite its flaws and absence of important characters like Ishinn, Ryuuken, Aizen I really enjoyed the episode. It gave me the most important thing a battle shounen should, excitement for 27 minutes straight. Literally made me feel like a 12 years old watching DBZ. Animation was top tier, so many characters got moments and a good conclusion to their arcs, you could feel the stakes. Also the call backs to previous arcs was done well. Overall a 7-7.5/10 episode (10/10 animation and music)

Do you guys it would have flowed better had there really just been 1 Yhwach to fight as a raidboss and just that everyone involved got put in Soul Society for some reason? Yhwach was no longer a normal Quincy but the new Soul King and therefore, hollow reishi should no longer have any effect on him, especially after he became a linchpin that simultaneously exists in all 3 realms at the same time.
