Just finished. ThoughtsCapri was my favourite, but the plot surrounding her feels a tad underwhelming. That includes D's obsession with her. I get it, but it needed time to settle. A lot of S2 made me want more character interactions. D and Roman peaked about a quarter - half way in, and became redundant afterwards.D is surprisingly more likable than I thought he'd be. He's edgy but in a dorky way rather than someone who completely jumped the fence. His manic episodes were cool.Kyouko was probably the biggest surprise. In the end, she just wanted a body for her AI daughter to live in properly. Paralleling Avida. Makes sense why she was always shittalking Yang who kept fucking over his family for corpo greed.Omi living was shocking. That's all I have to say.Talia and Roman are very cute. I just wanted more of them. 2 episodes more at least.Overall, I prefer s1 over s2. S1 was a more focused and brutal story. S2 has more likable characters, but it needed more episodes.

Overall, this season is as strong as Season 1, they are just different types of stories, and people need to accept that.Also, those who think that Night City has some sort of character and that it was missing from the anime clearly haven't played the game or have played very little.
